Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
RT ONE Techs ("we", "us" or "our") develops mobile and desktop applications, including RT-Bill, RT-eDiary and other utility tools. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data securely. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle user information across all our software and applications.
1. Our core philosophy: offline-first and privacy-focused
All applications developed by RT ONE Techs are designed with a strict offline-first architecture.
Local storage
Your business records, financial data, invoices, accounting entries, generated reports, diary entries, voice notes, day book entries, reminders, saved passwords and stored documents are kept locally and exclusively on your own device.
No central servers for your data
We do not maintain, operate or use central database servers to collect, read or store the records you create in our applications.
2. Information we collect and process
To provide account security, verify installations and manage licences, our apps collect only the minimum data required.
Mobile number and OTP authentication
We use Google Firebase for secure mobile number authentication, One-Time Password (OTP) verification and licence key checks. For these security and licensing purposes, your mobile number is stored securely through Google Firebase, in accordance with Google's applicable infrastructure and privacy policies.
Licence requests
When you request a licence key, you share with us your name, contact number, Google account email and the payment reference (UTR or transaction ID). We use these details only to verify your payment, send your licence key and provide support.
No commercial profiling
We do not use your mobile number, email or authentication data for advertising, customer profiling, marketing trackers or any third-party behavioural analytics.
3. RT-eDiary: additional details
- On-device only. Your diary, voice notes, day book, reminders, password vault and document vault are stored on your phone. Mood detection runs on your phone; your diary text is not sent to any AI service or server.
- Encrypted password vault. Saved passwords are stored in encrypted form and unlock only with the Master Password you set. We never receive your Master Password and cannot recover it.
- Autofill service. If you choose RT-eDiary as your autofill service, Android passes login fields to the app so it can fill or save them in your vault on your device. This data is not sent to us.
- Device permissions. The microphone is used only to record voice notes you start, and the camera only to scan documents you choose to add. The app opens only after your phone lock or fingerprint, and screenshots are blocked inside the app.
- Backup to your own Google Drive. RT-eDiary backs up your data to your personal Google Drive account. The backup is locked with your Master Password.
4. Data storage and third-party integrations
Your own Google Drive
Where you enable it, our applications sync or back up your local data to your own personal Google Drive account. This happens directly between your device and your personal cloud. RT ONE Techs does not have access to, ownership of or visibility into these files.
Government portals and in-app WebViews
Where our applications provide access to official services (such as GST or tax filing portals), they do so through a secure in-app WebView. Our apps do not log, read, store or transmit your official user IDs, passwords or OTPs. All authentication is processed directly by the respective official government systems.
Payments
If our apps generate payment QR codes or open external UPI apps, we do not process, hold or take custody of any funds. All payment transactions are carried out by authorised banks and digital payment service providers.
5. Data security and your responsibility
Because your records are stored on your device or in your personal Google Drive, you are primarily responsible for:
- Keeping your device physically secure
- Securing your Google account and keeping your Master Password safe
- Keeping access to your Google Drive backups
RT ONE Techs shall not be held liable for data loss, file corruption or unauthorised access resulting from device damage, user actions, lost credentials or third-party cloud service outages.
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our applications or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our apps after an update means you accept the revised policy.
